Okay, a going to have a rant.

I almost felt like hitting someone today at work, but we all know that is a big no-no.

We are in some awkward situations at work with the way quite a few customers jobs are going through the plant. In situations like these it requires close monitoring and people to speak up when they have problems or delays. I am in the unfortunate position of having to commit dates to many of the jobs that go through the place. Today got the the point where it has been found that multiple jobs for one customer have been delayed for one reason or another. The most frustrating part is that I have been involved in putting many systems in place to make sure that these issues are raised with enough time to either make other arrangements or contact the customer to let them know of the delay. The big problem is that these delays are only being discovered days before they are due to go out the door. Waaaaaay too late.

I had to refrain from shouting at one point, and did raise my voice a few times. The fact that the person who was being the most difficult and in the wrong was female didn't help the situation. At one stage I said I had to use the bathroom and had to leave the room to go calm down, by the time I got back the meeting was coming to an end. The funny thing though, after the meeting someone came up to me and congratulated me for restraining myself, saying that they would have blown up at some of the things said.

I don't mind, I am just happy to bitch about this person behind their back now.......

Anyway, its getting cold in the mornings now. Was down to 2c (30's F) round this way this morning. Its a worry as it is only the first week of winter. Most lawns on the way to work had frost on them and some of the reserves were covered in low fog which always looks spooky

I am still thinking of video ideas.... will let you know when I know of course, but don't bug me ;)

Might take a trip into town on Sunday, has been a while since I ventured in there....

Oscar says hi. He is on the foot of my bed snoring his lungs out before I kick him out into the cold for the night....

And I say bye..... its time for bed...
