hibernation

Howdy folks.
Apologies, but have been in hibernation for a bit. No particular reason, it could be because it's winter I guess, but to be honest I haven't had an awful lot to write about either.
I renewed my supergold membership here this morning as it denied me access to the stats feature that seems to work okay. Only renewed for 6 months as I can't really see the point in 12. A bit like the registration renewal on my car. Why pay for 12 months if you can pay for 6 or 3. It might cost a little more but you don't have to pay extra right now. I guess I am a bit if a tightwad like that.
Seems to be a bit of music coming out lately that has sparked my interest. My good old faves Pearl Jam and Live have both released new albums. These days I normally acquire the album through some unmentionable channels and have a good listen, then if I enjoy it I go out and purchase the CD. I think that's only fair because if the album sucks it's a bit hard to return it. Another aussie group called Gerling released an album as well, but I couldn't find it through the normal channels so I lost my iTunes virginity and bought it off there.
On the work front, things are getting slower. My replacement in waiting is showing much promise and it looks like I'll be able to step away sooner than I anticipated. Several of the front line supervisors and myself are undergoing a frontline management course at the moment for something to do. We are all doing it in house as not to cause too much disruption, and the main benefit is that the company is paying for it.
The love life front...... now there's somewhere that I never dwell on usually. People must be interested though? Am happy to say that it is quiet at the moment and I am happy that way. It's good in one way, it's uncomplicated, quiet and somewhat normal. I am not desperate, someone/thing will come along one day. I am just happy not having to look for it. Simple really...... I read many blogs that are full of complicated, frustrating and uncomfortable situations involving relationships and in a way those people can have them.
Oh well, enough for now. I feel a case of the can't be bothered's coming on again.
