Coming to a town near you........
No plans as yet, but seeing as I didn't have one and there may be the possibility of some travel for work coming up in the near future. So don't fear, I won't be knocking on your door in a hurry.
So, the week that was.
The cat ended up going to the vet for surgery on Thursday after being seen on Wednesday. He now has a scar and stitches to match from his chin down to his chest. Have I mentioned how I hate getting tablets down a cats throat?
Work has eased up a bit. Actually went in on Saturday for the first time in a long time. The big boss is off on leave for the next 6 weeks or so and there has been some major management re-shuffling again so all is a bit un-easy at the moment. The good thing is that all seems to be going quite smooth, output is up and records are being broken across the whole company so it's not all bad. I even applied for 3 weeks leave in September/October but at this stage have no idea what to do with it. I am also having serious thoughts about using my long service leave for an overseas trip rather than buying some real estate like I have mentioned before.
In other news the first Ikea store in Adelaide opened here this week. Much fanfare for what is over hyped cheap stuff. It just goes to say how behind Adelaide is from the rest of the world. What should I buy people, you know I love to shop!
Alright, i'm outta stuff to talk about, other than Big Brother started here again tonight. Compulsive viewing that stuff!
