G'day again peoples.
Been a while again since tapping an entry in here.
An interesting week to say the least, and it's all over again tomorrow. Where did it go?
Lets start with work. The search for my replacement goes on, but I did score a new pc for my troubles as they bought a new one for the person who was going to start originally. Not bad though having dual 19" flat panels on the desk. I feel geekier than my fellow co-workers. As our morale and productivity at work is at an all time low we are having another one of monthly factory BBQ's for lunch tomorrow. Fun stuff. Free food, can't complain......
Spent the best part of 5 hours driving and wandering around on the south coast on Sunday afternoon. The main motive was to lay out and drive the route for an upcoming car cruise in a few weeks time. It should be a great day hopefully with a heap of people turning up to follow each other through some spectacular winding roads and country side. Speaking of which, took a heap of photos and have put em up on my flickr page, click the button below to go and have a perv.......
Other than that, not much more going on. We have a long weekend this week to celebrate a horse race here in Adelaide. How creative. Basically means a sleep in and day off while a bunch of people go and watch some horses run around a track. This particular long weekend used to be in May but the events were washed out one year in three so they brought it forward. I remember quite well the rainy May long weekends as we always had a fishing trip to Port Pirie and more often than not we spent half the weekend in pubs or cabins keeping dry and warm......

btw, you need to watch this ad that is running around the world at the moment, except for the UK who have taken offence..... bloody idiots
