Shit! It says it has been 9 days since an update.
A few things have happened since my last dribble of words. But it hasn't been all that interesting either......
After writing the last one I woke up sick the next Wednesday morning but I headed into work anyway. After about 20 mins of enduring stomach cramps and severe lethargy I made the call to head home. It appears I had managed to get the dreaded gastro bug that has been going around. Such a pain though as I had it all but 3 weeks earlier. That took me out of work for 2 days but even when I headed back on the Thursday I was still under the weather, but well enough to sit at my desk. Hardly ate anything for about 4-5 days which is a worry as I don't need to lose any more weight..... Appetite is back again this week but still not up to eating a full meal, just prone to alot of snacking throughout the day and evening.
Had some good news last Thursday. My replacement was hired. I got pulled into the final interview to meet the lady concerned. It was rather informal and we offered her a 12 month contract as we do all full time employees. Well we got a phone call on Monday morning from the lady concerned stating that she wouldn't be taking up the position any longer as she was not too happy about the 12 month contract thingie and left it at that. WTF?? Back to the drawing board again I guess.
So what's up for the rest of the week. More work, thursday late night shopping. I destroyed 2 pairs of jeans last week and need to find some replacements. The weekend is pretty boring apart from sunday where I think I will go for a burn and try and lay out a route for an up coming car cruise down the south coast. Fun stuff.
I promise to take some more pics..... honest. Just have to get motivated to do so. Am thinking about upgrading my flickr account to the pro version so I can display more than 200 at once. Whaddya think??
Hate to leave ya's but I think I need to go to bed......
