I just fed the cat something out of a can that had peas and corn in it. Yes, it was labeled cat food.
I have just now finished an icecream on a stick. It was so nice I think I shall have another. Well not really, it was too small that 2 need to be eaten to make up for one.
Okay just scoffed another one.
So what's been happening in the life and times of mackaj?
Not much really.
Spent the best part of sunday helping my dad install an electric windlass onto the deck of his boat. He kept reminding me that it was for my benefit and not his. I politely reminded him that I am sure he won't mind going out on his own nowadays.
Work is getting me down again. But I remind myself that I can go home in the evening and switch off until the next morning. There is nothing worse than going home and stressing about work problems, losing sleep and getting stomach ulcers over the stress. Work is simply not worth it.
I lashed out on monday and bought a portable room airconditioner, the type that vent out through your window with a flexible pipe. The weather forecast tonight said that it is going to be in the high 30's (90's F) for at least the next week. Ack!
So there be it.
Need to get out and take some more pics, but far too hot for that. Am hoping that we get a wicked thunderstorm in the coming weeks so i can attempt some lightning shots.
Bah! I'm tired. Need to go face the sleep fairies and face another day....
