I should really write here more often....
Big case of the CBF's.
Life is so exciting that I am running around the streets screaming at the top if my lungs.
Seriously, it's the same old shit but it's just a different month. November is scarily before December which is Christmas.
We had some seriously heavy rain falls here earlier in the week. It must have triggered a leak in my car, because something smelled like it had died in there. The carpet on the passenger side was damp and it looked as if there had been a leak. Seeing as the car was still under warranty I rang the local dealership to book it in to have it looked at. Unfortunately they couldn't find any evidence of a leak, but they managed to fix the squeal from the back wheels while they were at it. So at least something was fixed.
Work... well that has taken a turn for the worst. We have some major underlying issues at the moment. Crisis meetings, staff shuffling. Even I have been moved back into an old role from about 6 months ago. If things don't start improving by January I don't know what we'll end up having to deal with. It's all scary but very challenging at the same time. I think the job hunting might have to start again, there has to be something less-stressful out there somewhere
Anyway. It's sunday and the weather is fine, sun shining and not a breath of wind. Might head over to my dads place this afternoon and help him out with measuring up his boat for some work he needs done and also borrow his front lawn so I can wash my car as well. With the on and off wet weather we have had in the last few weeks it has been quite pointless in washing the thing. The forecast is for a fine week, but knowing my luck it will rain again before long. Haha.
Oh, almost forgot. Oscar destroyed his soccer ball that he dribbles and headers around the back yard. I was sort of flat for a while and he could manage to squash it in his mouth to pick it up. Well after some dedicated chewing it is now flat and he has chewed the corners off it (if you can have corners on a ball). So I lashed out yesterday and bought him a giant inflatable tennis ball for $2. Bargain. So now he is flat out chasing this bright yellow fuzzy ball around the back yard. I think it will keep him amused for the hours no one is at home. The going rate for dog-toy-destruction is about 3 days before a toy becomes non-functional. Just picture this, de-fuzzed tennis balls with splits in them. But he still manages to have a game with them. Little terror :)
So, another week ahead.... next weekend I am off on a fishing trip up the river and it's one of those trips I detest because all we will be catching is carp, which we give away to a fish processor for bait at the end of the weekend. I don't know, the things we do for sport these days.
Righto peoples.... have a good one (well what is left of it anyway)
And remember, if it feels good, do it!
