Nothing like a photo opportunity..........

Someone likes the camera......
Week has been quite a blur. Many milestones at work, some people moving on, more changes.
Had some re-assurance that my new role is making ground within the company, positive feedback always helps.
Had a bit of running around to do on Saturday morning. Was up bright and early to make the most of the day and decided to get a nice big tall cup of Latte from McDonalds, the silly cow who served me overfilled the cup so when I removed the plastic lid in my car it overflowed into my console..... bugger.
Took the car back to the exhaust workshop on Saturday as well, had it checked over and put back on the dyno. All is good, have got a fairly decent 30kw power increase at the wheels, and my fuel economy is better as a result.
Pulled the doors apart on the car Saturday afternoon and replaced all of the standard factory speakers with the speakers I took out of the old car before I sold it.
Picked up the new sunnies on Friday night, after having ordered them back on the 12th of June. Funny thing was, when i walked into the store and gave them my receipt to collect them, the ladies in the store knew exactly who I was as i have been bugging them for weeks. I guess I need to take another mugshot wearing them for my myspace profile so you can all have a gawk. Joy.....
Finances are tight. Checked the credit card balance the other night after booking the flights. Not looking healthy at all. After paying off the sunglasses and buying a new tyre, it looks like I have to clear some debt before I fly off in October. I lodged my tax return the other night and should be getting a refund of a couple of hundred dollars, so that should help. But I have a heap of bills sitting on my desk right now and they aren't going away in a hurry :( Good thing is there are 2 paydays before most of the bills are due.
The aussie Big Brother 05 finishes tomorrow. Have followed it this year, but not with the same level of interest as previous years. They tried to spice things up by having hot, single, attractive people this year, and unfortunately it didn't really help. Either way, someone is walking away with a shade over $800,000 tomorrow and they will be faded from our memories this time next week.
The week ahead: not much to write about really. If I think of anything I'll be sure to write it down.
Later peoples
~MJ~
