plans, taxes and stupid people

Anyone got any plans for the weekend? Well I don't.
Well, that's kind of a lie, i do have a family lunch to go to on Sunday for my Grandfathers birthday. He was 79 yesterday. The old bugger.
Jackson the dearly departed would have been 15 years old today.
Anyway, no one guessed how much money was in the pile...... FYI it was $5800 in cold hard cash. Went into the bank on Tuesday morning and slammed it down on the counter and smiled "Please put this in my account....... baby" (well not quite that way).
Ack, time to do taxes, got my group certificate the other day. For those of you who aren't aware, that's the statement that your employer gives you at the end of the financial year that states how much you earnt and how much tax they withheld. You then fill out your tax return either with an accountant or at home on your pc and lodge it. If you have been a good dude or dudette you might get some money back from the Tax office, otherwise you end up owing. There's a trick though. Work it all out without lodging it, if you find you need to pay some back then go see an accountant and hopefully they can weasel you out of it with a shitload of deductions that you wouldn't ordinarily think of. Haha, spellchecker suggests shipload in place of shitload.
Sad and angry at the same time to hear about the attacks in London overnight, I have heaps of relatives in and around London and from all accounts they are all safe and accounted for. We are just waiting for the day that terrorism lands on our doorstep, as much as you hate to think about it, it is bound to happen. No matter what you do to try and prevent it, these scum of the earth will just come up with another way to annoy and disrupt our lives. Enough on that, it makes me angry.
Work sucks, meh...... life goes on. People are stupid, yet I just deal with it. Some people ask stupid questions, so i give them stupid answers. Haha
